"Mera can you please bring me mom's medicine?" No one answered. "Now Mera!"

"I'm coming I'm coming," Mera slithered off of the couch and grabed the medicine off the nearby kitchen counter.

"Mom sit still stop moving around," Mera's older sister tried to settle her mother down.

"Hi mom," Mera waved at her as she walked in the cramped room. Her mother stopped moving around and smiled at Mera. "Here you go Lilith," Mera gave her grumpy older sister the meds ands jumped up on the bed with their mother.

"Stop calling me that for gods sake," her sister told her.

"Wow saying the lords name in vain. Proving me wrong day by day big sis," Mera giggled causing their mother to giggle too.

"Can you two both please settle down," her sister snapped out. "I still can't believe you're going to be eight teen soon."

"In twenty eight days to be percise," Mera stood up on the bed and put her hands on her hips.

"Get down before you accidentaly hurt mom again you dweeb. We can't afford another hospital bill," her sister said as she pulled her down.

"Or tooth paste apparently," Mera waved her hand as if waving away a foul smell.

"Your not funny Mera," her sister said as she pulled a blanket over their mother. "Now don't forget mom needs her shot every six hours. Hopefully the dinner isn't too busy today and I can get home to give her her other shots. All you need to do is give her the one in six hours. I even set the timer so you'd know when to give it to her."

Mera stood behind her sister pretending to mimick her while she was talking. This caused their mother to do more than just giggle but bust out into complete laughter. Her sister spun around to see what she was doing. Mera froze with her mouth half open. One of her arms was on her hips and the other was pointing up at the ceiling. Mera's sister just rolled her eyes and left the room. Their mother grabbed her board and wrote something quickly on it and showed it to Mera.

"Lily mom wants you," Mera shouted from the room.

Her sister re-entered the room to see what she wanted. Mom was writing something down on her board then she looked up smiled and showed the board to both of them. She had written that she loved both of them and if they didn't want her to die they both better hug and kiss.

"Well you saw what she said," Mera went in for a hug.

Lily one the other hand was not happy at all. "You two are both sick," she pushed Mera off of her and left for work.

"I wonder what's bugging her this morning," Mera asked. Mom just shook her shoulders unsure of her eldest daughters unhappiness.

$100,000

"They offered me $100,00, and I think I'm going to take."

"No you won't. Your going to deny their offer, and continue on. This is just a test to see who wants it or not, and you. You want this, remember," he reaches out for her arm.

"NO!," she pulls back. "You wanted this not me! Ever since day one all I wanted to do was survive. All you saw me as was your next big rising star."

"Yes, that is true but now all I want is what's best for you Kara. Can't you see that," he steps closer to her.

"Your a f***ing lier. You have no idea how long I've wanted out for. The pain I've gone through," Cara explained with tears in her eyes.

"I know it was a lot but you did it. Your so close I can almost taste it," he explained to her.

"Don't you mean your almost close," she cut her eyes at him.

"Please Cara come on lets go. You have to be back in your room in twenty minutes we don't have time for this," he reached out one more time.

"F**K YOU ALEXANDER!," Cara yelled walking to the edge of the roof. "I have put my actual blood sweat and tears into this. I've thrown up and passed out. I even shit my self at one point, and for what. HUH? Five minutes of fame a day. You have put me threw so much shit!" Alexander tried to stop her but she kept going. "No your going to listen to me this time you talentless f**k. You knew you couldn't cut it so you went out and found the first girl that would say yes to your evil coniving ass. Unfortunalty for me I said yes. I wonder Alexander how many girls you asked before you finally found me," she stopped.

"Cara I really think you should,"

"You always think 'I should," I should what Alexander have another drink. Just don't thik about all the shit you've put me threw. All of the purging and late nights with slimy judge officals. HUH? Tell me oh Alexander the great what should I do now?" Cara asked.

"I really think you should get some sleep," he told her.

"I'll go to bed. As soon as you say my name," she demanded.

"Cara we don't have time for these games," he told her.

"You don't remeber it do you. My real name. The name my mother gave me," she wittingly said.

"I do remeber it. I'm just not playing your little game right now. So get your ass off the f***ing edge before I lose my shit," he demanded her.

     "What's my name Alexander?"

Chapter I

Great Kid

“Look you’re a great kid, and one hell of a worker.”

“I understand,” she cut him off before he could finish. She began to collect her stuff.

“Hey, um, my cousin has a shop down a couple of streets from here, and it’s a decent paying job. You’ll also have a lot more down time then you do here,” her old boss writes down the address and gives it to her. “I really am sorry about this. If you need a reference I don’t mind,” she slammed the front door to the shop.

She walks outside and looks up at the sky. She crumbles up the piece of paper and tosses it. A tiny slot opens up the trash bin and a little droid rolls out and retrieves it. While she looks up the first thing she sees is some rich guys wife swimming in their clear glass pool. She looks beyond the pool and makes contact with the sun.

“Get out of the way!” a guy yelled as he tested out his clearly new bike mod. She pulled out her phone and hit a button. As she was crossing the street the guy went flying into a pole. She could hear him cursing as she crossed the street.

“Hey there pretty lady,” a guy leaned up on a corner said to her. “I couldn’t help but notice that even though your physical features and spectacular. You seem to be lacking a little something extra,” the shady peddler tapped his cleary unregistered bio-tech cover. “And a lady like yourself only deserves the best of the best,” he smiled and winked at her. “You know what I’d get if I were you?” he rhetorically asked. “I would get the DD3.2.,” he paused for dramatic effect.  “Now I know what your think, but my girlfriend had it installed and I know for a fact that we both enjoy it,” the shady peddler went on.

“No thank you,” she flashed a half assed smile. The shady peddler stepped out of the girls way and let her continue on down the street. As she passed him he mumbled under his breath not to kind words. Once again the girl pulled out her phone and pushed a button. As she walked down the street she could hear the shady peddler man involuntarily reciting Shakespeare. Every so often you would hear him yell out for help but no one did.

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day. I would just like to announce that the problems with the F80 have all been updated. We urge anyone that has brought the bioware to please get it updated. Thank you all and have a glorious day!

As the girl walked down the street she couldn’t but help notice ads posted about a new super hybrid Bio-Tech. The ad had something about changing the way world as we’d knew it. She stopped and stared at the ad. Wondering if it was what she thought it was.
